On 10th November, Chemika hosted a laboratory tour for 20 delegates from the 9th Annual Laboratory Management Conference.
The tours through the laboratory were hosted by Catherine, Natallie, Dina and Alan. The main focus of the tour was on Chemika's approach to efficient work flow through laboratory design and layout as well as every day communication tools.
Both Alan and Catherine presented at the recent RACI NSW Pharmaceutical Science Group seminar on 'Impurities - Sources, Detection and Measurement' held 2nd September 2014.
Alan presented 'Elemental impurities and their Measurement' and Catherine presented 'Residual Solvents and their Analyses'
Links to both presentations are available on the RACI website
Chemika attends the 40th International Symposium on HPLC in Tasmania. In November Laboratory Analyst Simin Houssini and Alan Doughty travelled to Hobart. The conference attracted close to 300 delegates from 32 countries and showcased the latest research in chromatographic techniques and interpretation of chromatographic data.
At the recent RACI event, TOC analysis of water became the subject of a few questions. We routinely run TOC analysis on Thursday every week. All TOC samples received by 11am on Thursday will be processed on the same day, results are usually available the following Monday or Tuesday. If you would like to discuss TOC analysis please contact Chemika on 02 9688 1188.
Together with the RACI Pharmaceutical Science Group, Chemika will be opening it's laboratory. Afterwards we will relocate to Fox Hills Golf Club for official presentations from, Pharmaxis, Phebra, BioHealth Pharamceuticals and Chemika as they discuss their recent investments into the Australian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry.
