Chemika has expertise extending across almost all aspects of testing of pharmaceutical products. With an extensive range of equipment and staff with diverse skills, we implement methods from all major pharmacopoeias or when required develop methods suitable for analysis of products or raw materials.

Our testing and management systems are highly evolved resulting in service delivery consistently on time and of the highest quality and in compliance with modern data integrity principles. We are licenced with the APVMA and TGA and our Girraween laboratory is registered with the US FDA.

Chemika is unique in the Australian market in our specialisation in chemical testing for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and research organisations.

We are equally comfortable working with new technologies and implementing methods utilising complex, modern equipment, as we are working with analytical methods which have been established for decades. Our specialisation means we understand our customers and their testing requirements, and our determination to be the first choice means we will respond quickly to new regulatory requirements and evolving test methods and technologies.

Our modern and spacious laboratory is located in Western Sydney and accommodates a wide variety of equipment. The equipment includes all items commonly used in pharmaceutical testing, such as HPLC, GC, GCMS, AAS, UV, FTIR, TOC and ICP. We also are equipped with instruments less commonly seen in a typical laboratory of this type, such as coulometric Karl Fisher, post column derivatisation, ion chromatography, osmometry, as well as an autoclave to allow testing of packaging.

We have walk in style incubators available for the common stability conditions, as well as a number of cabinet style incubators to allow for controlled temperature and humidity storage across conditions relevant to a number of international markets. In use and broached stability protocols can be developed and implemented in addition to specialised protocols such as ICH and FDA protocols for photostability.

Above all, Chemika’s expertise is expanded in response to customer’s needs. If you have requirements for analytical testing of medicinal products, you will find we are responsive to your needs and either will have existing capability or will work with you to develop the techniques you require.
